The appenzeller Extra is semi-hard cheese made of raw cow milk. Its unique taste is given by its refinement with herb brine and white wine. A very slow aging in humid cheese cellar gives The Extra variety a very strong taste.

Ingredients

Unpasteurized cow's milk, salt, rennet, lactic ferment.

Instructions For Use

Serve directly or with bread. It can be heat-treated to create delicious and nutritious recipes.
